After spending almost a decade on Wall Street as a VP for Merril Lynch, Filipino-native, Josie Natori, accidentally embarked on what would be one of the most successful lingerie line that the world would see.

In 1977 Natori took an embroidered blouse she received as a gift from the Philippines and transformed it into a nightgown that completely reinvented women’s intimate apparel.  It quickly caught the eye of major retailers across North America, and the rest is history.

Constantly featured in magazines on both sides of the globe, Natori’s east-meets-west designs are seamless fusions.  And as Natori explained in many interviews lingerie is no longer just bras and underwear, it is feminine wear—tanks, dresses, camisoles, you name it.
